Since 2017, our A2 throttle systems have been based on a proven design that has sold in the thousands. Our 3P throttle kits have already been sold to thousands of satisfied A2 riders and have proven themselves to be reliable in daily use. Of course, as part of our quality management process, our products are regularly inspected for potential manufacturing irregularities. These inspections are part of our company philosophy and an integral component of our quality standards.
In a single customer case, a fracture in the intake restrictor was detected. Based on current information, this is not due to material fatigue but is likely the result of a misfire. This is explicitly an isolated case. Since the safety and peace of mind of our customers are particularly important to us, we have reinforced the design of the component in question as a precautionary measure. As a result, the same effect cannot occur again in the future, even in a comparable situation.
For this reason, we are offering all customers the opportunity to exchange the intake restrictor already installed for the new, reinforced version free of charge. Of course, this will incur no costs for you. All CF Moto 675 throttle kits sold after May 4, 2026, are already automatically shipped with the new reinforced air restrictors.
